From the church square, go into Tragweinerstraße, turn into Bindergasse at the tobacconist turn right into Althauserstraße, keep right again in front of the new education centre and continue to the Grünbichl housing estate.
Cross the square between the blocks of flats, turn right and reach a chapel on the third street on the left before the edge of the forest, built by the residents according to a design by Pregartner artist Herbert Friedl. The path continues downhill through the forest, past a small wayside shrine located directly in the rock. A footbridge leads to the Klausmühle mill. On the right bank of the Aist, the path leads uphill, past the Teufelsmauer, and turns right under the bypass road to the railway station. Take the A7 motorway towards Freistadt as far as Unterweitersdorf. From there, take the B124 towards Pregarten and Tragwein as far as the Pregarten town centre exit.
