P5 Fernsicht

P5 (Pregarten - Pregartsdorf - Pregarten)

The path leads eastwards through the church park and Peyerl Straße, downhill to the sports facilities of the Union and SV and branches off to the left after the bridge;

It climbs rather steeply up to the Hesser farm, then offers a good panoramic view over Pregarten and the parish churches of Hagenberg and Wartberg, as well as the Wenzelskirche church. Once you reach the Hubertuskapelle chapel (approx. ¾ h) on the edge of the village of Pregartsdorf, the view widens over large parts of the lower Mühlviertel as far as the Alps. The trail continues into the village (no refreshments available) and then descends to the left. It branches off to the left again and finally leads along the Summerauerbahn railway back to the town.
