The Traun flows through the Salzkammergut, a rural cultural region that will be the European Capital of Culture in 2024. It is used to cross municipal and national borders. In water pilgrimages, borders are overcome: external geographical and political borders, but also internal borders. Inspired by flowing water that finds its own path, life can find ways towards a more human coexistence.
The third stage goes from Bad Ischl to Obertraun.

From the Bad Ischl town parish church of St. Nikolaus we go to the Lauffen Maria parish and pilgrimage church in the shade. The path then leads to the Bad Goisern St. Martin parish church and the Bad Goisern Evangelical Church. Via Steeg we go to the Obertraun Holy Trinity parish church.
Starting point: Bad Ischl
Destination: Obertraun
