Radstern Gmunden - Travelling along the Traunseetram train track

A tour from the city-countryside project "Radstern Gmunden"

This short cycle tour leads along the signposted everyday cycle route network "Radstern Gmunden" and runs parallel to the Traunseetram for the most part. If you wish, you can comfortably use the Traunseetram for the return journey with your bike (please note: separate ticket required for the bike).
You can use the downloadable GPS data or the signposting on site for navigation. The following destinations along the route help with orientation.
 
Route & signposting:
Start: Gmunden railway station → Gmunden/Centre → Ostufer/Gschwandt → Kirchham → Destination: Vorchdorf railway station
 
Flexibility & orientation:
The route can be started at various entry points. The consistent signposting helps with orientation and makes it possible to organise the tour flexibly.
 
Refreshment stops:
Numerous refreshment stops along the route invite you to take a cosy break: Catering establishments are located in Gmunden, Kirchham and Vorchdorf.
