Listen to the peace, sense the nature and feel the serenity here in the Wolfgangtal Valley.  Our farm seems to lie on an island.  3 times winner of the best-looking farmhouse, we are also mentioned in the guide of Austria’s most beautiful farms and, of course it has been awarded 4 “flowers” by “Farm Holidays”.

… and yet the villages of St. Wolfgang and Strobl, and the town of Bad Ischl are only a few minutes away by car.  Our farmhouse called "Das Gut im Schlag zu St.Wolfgang” was first mentioned in documents in 1416.  Sensitively renovated, today the comfortable, cosy appartements are furnished in farmhouse style with solid wooden furniture.  Experience the romance as the sun goes down in the garden, enjoy the wonderful view of the mountains. A trip into the deer enclosure is free for our guests (by appointment).   An insider tip: our Alpine meadow pasture with its wonderful view of Lake Attersee, where we rent out our log cabin for weekly stays - a true paradise for nature lovers where you feel a true connection to the world around you and its traditions.  Moments of summer happiness on one of the 80 or so crystal clear lakes of the Salzkammergut!  Sports fans are amazed by the family cycle paths and mountain bike routes, numerous water sports, hiking and riding possibilities in the Lake Wolfgangsee area.  Have you ever actually enjoyed a rainy day?  You can, by spending a lovely day in the Bad Ischl spa, by strolling in the footsteps of Empress Sissi, on a visit to the Barbie doll museum in St. Wolfgang or the “Haus der Natur" (natural history museum) in Salzburg…  There are countless things to do here all making for an enjoyable holiday.  Each day is what you make it …
