A place where tradition and modernity are combined to create a unique atmosphere; The family-run pension „Herzog zu Laah“ is located in historic walls of a typical Upper Austrian farm in Ansfelden. These farms are large in scale and have a yard in it’s middle. The beautifully arranged garden with its bright colors invites you to linger and enjoy. It takes you ten minutes to reach the city center of Linz, twenty minutes to Wels and thirty minutes to Steyr by car from the accommodation.
The breakfast buffet presents a selection of high quality and regional products. The breakfast room often becomes a space for nice conversations, but sometimes you simply want to enjoy your coffee in peace.
All our rooms have a fully equipped kitchenette, parking and wifi is for free. As well you can use the fitness room and infrared cabin free of charge.
The pension suits perfectly to guests who prefer the ambience of a lovingly renovated austrian farmhouse in contrast to a classic hotel as usual. Culture and nature lovers but also business travelers will find here the perfect base to discover Upper Austria (Linz, St. Florian Abbey, Kremsmünster Abbey, Steyr, Salzkammergut...).

On cold winter days, you can fire up the fireplace with a viewing window and make yourself comfortable on the sofa. On the gallery there is another living area with a sofa. This sofa can be extended for children. The bathroom with a window is equipped with a corner bathtub.
