In the Kalkalpen National Park, the forests develop largely without human intervention. A natural biodiversity arises, trees are allowed to grow old again. Rotting trunks provide food and shelter for forest organisms and are an ideal germination bed for young trees. Gain insights into the exciting development of a primeval forest of tomorrow.

Requirements: The guided tours on the fixed dates are reserved for private individuals. We ask groups of 10 people or more, companies, schools or other organizations to contact the respective visitor center.
