Ensembles from the Musikgymnasium Linz present a diverse programme by female composers with special instruments such as harpsichord, zither and accordion.
Women composers in focus
Starting in the late Middle Ages, the journey leads via Maddalena Casulana Mezari and the Mozart pupil Josepha Auernhammer to Clara Schumann and Emilie Mayer. On this journey through time, special instruments are heard: harpsichord, zither and accordion, which oscillate back and forth between the times and creatively lead into completely new worlds of sound.
