Again and again you come across traces of the past in the national park - remains of buildings, dilapidated tunnels, old ironware. In Weißwasser, deep inside the Hintergebirge, there was a mining settlement where 1,000 people once lived. Join us on an exciting journey through time. After a visit to the miners' house in Unterlaussa, we go to the original sites of the mining settlement. Our hike then leads further into the national park to the world natural heritage sites. Here it becomes clear how quickly nature covers human traces.

Requirements: The guided tours on the fixed dates are reserved for private individuals. We ask groups of 10 people or more, companies, schools or other organizations to contact the respective visitor center.
