The colorful alpine pastures on the Hengstpass, which benefit from the natural mountain world, are as diverse as the wild forests in the Kalkalpen National Park. We hike comfortably across the alpine pasture area at the Hengstpass with a magnificent view of the Kampermauer and Haller Mauern all the way to the Gesäuse. Stations along the nature experience trail provide insight into the nursery of alpine newts and yellow-bellied toads and the variety of valuable small habitats on the alpine pasture.

Requirements: The guided tours on the fixed dates are reserved for private individuals. We ask groups of 10 people or more, companies, schools or other organizations to contact the respective visitor center.
