  Here is some brief information about the men's choral society:
  
  The MGV Goisern was founded in 1859. Since 1921, it has also had a women's group and with it the basis for the mixed choir.
  
  In 2023 year, the choral society will celebrate its 164th anniversary.
  The society currently has 40 active members, of which 23 are female singers and 17 are male singers.
  
  The cultivation of singing has a long tradition in Bad Goisern am Hallstättersee is of great importance. The choral societies, choirs and singing groups provide clear evidence of this.
  
  The MGV, as the Goisern Men's Choral Society is known for short today, was and is an integral part of Goisern's cultural life.
