Do you know boccia? The leisure game with the colourful balls? Then it's not far to Petanque, the popular boules game from France. Petanque, the game with the
iron balls and the small wooden target ball.
It's entertaining, the rules are simple and perfect for socialising.
The petanque course - framed by red lines  - is in the spa gardens right next to the
music pavilion. The rules of the game are on a poster in the display case.

Try it out. It is not only entertaining, but can also be really exciting.
Boules, the balls, can be borrowed from Intersport Steinkogler and from Salzkammergut Touristik for a deposit of EUR 20.00.
