Who’s in a bad mood here? In German language.

It's amazing how the question "Who's in a bad mood here" always puts you in a good mood, regardless of your state of mind.

The new tour "Wer hat hier schlechte Laune" by Max Raabe & Palast Orchester has the same effect. No matter what the mood is before the concert, the audience leaves the hall with a smile afterwards.

The title "Wer hat hier schlechte Laune" comes from the latest album by the singer and inventor of "Raabe-Pop". Together with his trusted co-writers of recent years, Annette Humpe, Achim Hagemann, Peter Plate and Ulf Leo Somme, Max Raabe presents songs about the tender blossoming and fading of love, about emotional confusion but also about the joy of travelling with electricity and the desire to stroke bumblebees and stalk through the woods with deer. These colourful aspects of life will spice up the "Wer hat hier schlechte Laune" tour from January 2023.

Max Raabe & Palast Orchester have long since proven with their last shows that mixing Max Raabe's own compositions with original arrangements from the 20s / 30s makes for an entertaining concert evening. In "Wer hat hier schlechte Laune", Max Raabe & Palast Orchester now pull out all the stops of their decades-long matured skills. In addition to tracks from the current CD, new classics such as "Guten Tag, liebes Glück" will also be performed. However, the focus of the evening will of course remain the music of the 20s / 30s: original arrangements read by hand will be brought to life with nuance as only Max Raabe & Palast Orchester can: "Unter den Pinien von Argentinien", "Mein Gorilla hat ne Villa im Zoo", "Ich will von der Lilli nichts wissen".

With Annette Humpe, Max Raabe wrote "Ein Tag wie Gold", the title track of the current "Babylon Berlin" season. Here, the Palast Orchester really comes out of its shell and shows what sound colours it is capable of. The violinist, whose virtuoso elegance is captivating, and her freshly ironed colleagues and multi-instrumentalists present the newly conceived stage show with many surprises.

Max Raabe is someone who is able to draw from the most diverse eras and styles and yet fuses everything into an unmistakable individual expression. He is a singular figure in the pop music landscape of the present - inspired by the wit of times gone by, but also by the knowledge of the incessant change of the world.
