Eginhartz Kanter: Conveyor

Exhibition at the MAERZ Gallery.

Eginhartz Kanter usually works in the context of public space. The starting point for his projects are situations that he tracks down on forays through urban space and the periphery. His new work Conveyor (2025) takes the viewer on a journey through landscapes of surreal beauty. Opencast lignite mines, to which forests and entire towns had and still have to make way, form the basis for this apocalyptic landscape portrait, which will be shown for the first time as a film installation at the MAERZ Gallery.
