42nd Running Event "Pfingstlauf" in Vorchdorf

The Union Laufgruppe Vorchdorf invites ALL exercise enthusiasts to the annual Vorchdorf Whitsun Run on Whitsun Saturday, 07 June 2025.

The children's run starts at 16:00, the 5km run at 18:00 and the main run at 18:00.

After the main run, there will again be a relay, which has been shortened to 3x 1000m - a team of 3 people, each running approx. 1000m. The focus is on having fun!

The start and finish is at the municipal office - depending on the distance (10 km AIMS-measured or 5 km), the 2.5 km lap is passed at the municipal office, so the route is not only attractive for runners, but also for spectators.

The Vorchdorf running group is looking forward to a great Whitsun run in the town centre, which will be held for the 40th time this year, traditionally on Whit Saturday.

RACE NUMBER DISTRIBUTION
Up to 1 hour before the start in the Kitzmantelhalle. The event takes place in all weather conditions. The organiser accepts no liability of any kind, neither to the participants nor to third parties. REFRESHMENTS AFTER THE RUN Fruit, vitamin drinks and pastries will be served free of charge.

AWARD CEREMONY In the Kitzmantelhalle - children's award ceremony with tombola before the main race after the respective competitions. Award ceremony and raffle with prizes after the relay race for the largest team and the largest children's team. PRIZES Children and handicap receive trophies, all finishers receive medals. Adults will receive a wooden anniversary medal from WOCI Design.

by train:via Wels station to Lambach station, with the Vorchdorferbahn (line 160) or from Gmunden with the Traunsee Tram (line 161) from Stern & Haferl Bahnen to Vorchdorf Eggenberg. Numerous connections from Wels station to the main trains on the Westbahn line (line 101) or via Gmunden to the Salzkammergutbahn in the direction of Bad Ischl, Hallstatt and Bad Aussee.

by bus: OÖVV bus routes 481 from Kirchdorf to Vorchdorf or 501 from Wels to Vorchdorf by Traunstein Taxi Route 70 from Scharnstein station via Pettenbach to the Vorchdorf station stop, call the taxi centre at least 1 hour in advance on 050-422 1691 or order on the otaxi app. By bike: From Gmunden, from Bad Wimsbach, from Pettenbach or from Laakirchen you can get to Vorchdorf very easily on beautiful side roads and partly cycle paths. by car: Westautobahn A1: Vienna - Voralpenkreuz-A1 - Exit A1 Vorchdorf. Parking is available in the town centre (Schwarzelmüller car park), next to the Kitzmantelfabrik event area and at Vorchdorf railway station. (all close to the path!)
