Domcenter birthday

With a varied programme, the Mariendom is taking the Long Night of the Churches as an opportunity to celebrate the first birthday of the Domcenter on this day in and around the Mariendom.

From 2 pm, families in particular can look forward to a colourful hands-on programme. On this afternoon, the cathedral square will be transformed into a large open-air studio for children and anyone who wants to get creative. An obstacle course invites children to have fun with colourful chalk painting, there will be creative stations run by the Catholic youth choir, a labyrinth and the popular bouncy castle. At 5 pm, there will be a blessing of children's vehicles in front of the Rudigier portal on Cathedral Square, before and after which young visitors are invited to whizz around Cathedral Square on scooters, pedal cars, walking bikes or bicycles.
