The world-famous Belcea Quartet makes its debut at the Brucknerhaus with Mozart's 'Hoffmeister' Quartet, Beethoven's third 'Rasumowsky' Quartet and Britten's poignant 3rd String Quartet.
The 2024/25 season of chamber music could hardly be concluded in a more glamorous way: The world-famous Belcea Quartet, about whom BR Klassik, for example, wrote that "there is hardly a chamber music ensemble at the moment that plays better technically", celebrates its long-awaited debut at the Brucknerhaus Linz. And the programme is no less magnificent, with Wolfgang Amadé Mozart's 'Hoffmeister' Quartet, Ludwig van Beethoven's third 'Rasumowsky' Quartet and Benjamin Britten's poignant 3rd String Quartet, his last instrument.
