How to get to the ‘Gmunden rocks’ concerts in Gmunden in the Traunsee-Almtal region!

We recommend travelling by public transport!

by train:
via Attnang-Puchheim station to Gmunden station, with the Traunsee Tram (line 161) from Stern & Hafferl to the Gmunden Rathausplatz stop, coming from Vorchdorf Eggenberg also to the Gmunden Rathausplatz stop. The stop is right next to the entrance.

Special timetable for the Traunsee Tram

Numerous connections from Attnang-Puchheim station to the main trains on the Westbahn line (line 101) or via Gmunden to the Salzkammergutbahn in the direction of Bad Ischl, Hallstatt and Bad Aussee

by bus:
OÖVV bus lines 507, 505 or 533 as well as city bus lines from Gmunden, bus stop Gmunden Rathausplatz

by bicycle:
The concert area at Gmunden Rathausplatz is also very easy to reach by bike. The Traunvierteltour as well as the R4 Traunradweg and R 2 Salzkammergutradweg lead past the Rathausplatz and the Traunbrücke, approx. 200 metres away.

By car:
Western motorway A1: Vienna - Voralpenkreuz-A1 - exit A1 Laakirchen West - via Laakirchen to Gmunden
Western motorway A1: Munich - Salzburg - exit A1 Regau - to Gmunden

Parking in the town centre:
Underground car park approx. 200 metres away, numerous parking spaces in the town centre (short-term parking zone during the day).
