Choir singers and soloists - bird songs intensive training

At the beginning of May, the last migratory birds from the south arrived here and the males in particular are loudly drawing attention to themselves. They define territories and look for a partner for the current breeding season. The variety of bird calls at this time of year is beyond confusing: who is who - and why? Luckily, some bird species have a distinctive and unmistakable song, others are more difficult to distinguish from the chorus of voices. We will try to identify at least some of the most common birds by song and also memorize them through repetition. Perhaps you can also hear and see some of the national park's feathered treasures.

Equipment: Weatherproof clothing, good shoes, snack and drink, seat pad, binoculars particularly important, camera recommended.

Requirements: The guided tours on the fixed dates are reserved for private individuals. We ask groups of 10 people or more, companies, schools or other organizations to contact the respective visitor center.

Meeting Point: National Park Center Molln, carpooling in the Bodinggraben.

Opening hours: 7:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. (leisurely hike, walking time approx. 3 hours)
