The little Meta, the yellow house by the stream, the mountain meadow - "the most beautiful place in the world". Erni Kirchweger takes you into the world of the writer Marlen Haushofer. We walk along her former school route from the Frauenstein church to Marlen's birthplace in Effertsbach, where Erni now lives with her family. Using passages from her books, we understand how Marlen drew strength for her life from her childhood in the freedom of nature. We get an insight into her family history and her life as an adult woman. If you enjoyed reading Haushofer, here are three book tips from Erni: "Being good is hard" (children's book); "Heaven that ends nowhere"; "The wall"; This tour is also suitable for school classes. The educational approach to the writer, her world and her works takes place in a playful way, appropriate to the age and group.

Requirements: The guided tours on the fixed dates are reserved for private individuals. We ask groups of 10 people or more, companies, schools or other organizations to contact the respective visitor center.
