Experience Industrial Culture
It used to be one of the most modern, but now it is one of the oldest steam pumps in existence. Since 1954, the last remaining steam pump in Gmunden has been at the gasworks in Gmunden. Unfortunately she was hardly seen there. In order to stop the deterioration, it was renovated and has been standing in front of the guest center in Gmunden since July 2023.
Visit this highlight at the Gmunden Toscana car park, right next to the guest center, and admire the steam pump during a short demonstration.
