TANZ LINZ and the Landestheater Linz are the first Austrian theatre in the 38-year history of the international choreography competition in Hanover to award a major production prize: the prizewinner will choreograph a dance piece with TANZ LINZ.

The second part of the evening will be created by TANZ LINZ itself. Chaos theory is an assumption about how we want to live and how we should behave, based on a predefined pattern. But what happens when unexpected individual decisions are made or even "mistakes" occur in these life constructs? The choreography thus becomes a kind of living experiment in which every "decision" leaves a trace in the fabric of the piece. In this way, it becomes clear what significance decisions can have on the form of the overall work of art, but also on our lives.

This double bill promises a multi-layered artistic experience that unites different perspectives and styles and offers the audience an insight into the constantly evolving world of contemporary dance.
