Musically socialised on the East Coast - in Washington DC - he now lives in Brooklyn, NY. Amir el Khalifa, as his real name is, also has Sudanese roots. His lyrics are clever, socially conscious and thought-provoking. Paired with congenial interplay with his live band Good Compny, the live concerts are an unforgettable experience for anyone who appreciates multi-layered hip hop.
