The Baseballs are back! But maybe they've never really been away, as they spent a good 2.5 years travelling from Moscow to Singapore for their 2017 anniversary album "The Sun Sessions". With these recordings in Sam Philipps' hallowed halls in Memphis, the legendary Sun Studio, the Berlin rockabilly experts have given themselves a birthday present that celebrates their shared passion for the authentic sound of the 50s and puts a pomaded icing on the cake of the first ten years of their turbulent band history.

A lot has happened in these ten years: Their debut "Strike!" (2009) was far more than that - they knocked it out of the park: the album went 8x platinum in Germany, Austria and Switzerland and charted at number 1 in several European countries. This was followed by five more successful albums, sold-out tours around the globe and prestigious prizes and awards such as the EMMA Award, the European Border Breakers Award and two ECHO awards.

The trio had clearly hit a nerve with their charming cover versions of current hits, their show and, last but not least, their unique vocals: Especially in the digital age, there is all the more need for rock'n'roll and sweaty, energetic live concerts. After Digger announced his departure from the band in summer 2023, fans can still be happy: the musical journey with Sam and Basti will continue in 2024.
