The alpine meadows and rocky regions in the Kalkalpen National Park are habitats for red-backed shrikes or tree pipits. In the deadwood-rich slope forests at the edge of the alpine meadows, rare woodpeckers such as the grey or white-backed woodpecker make their home. The impressive rock faces of the Kampermauer are home to birds of prey. The rock swallow also breeds here. Who knows who might show up on our tour. The route mostly runs through easy terrain on alpine pastures.Management: National Park Ranger Norbert Pühringer
