Horse adventure - the Hofrunde starts its second season

The popular family event ‘Hofrunde’ at the Stadl-Paura Equestrian Centre is entering its second season and promises a unique experience around the theme of HORSES again this year.

From 17 May, there will be a varied programme for all generations on six Saturdays from May to October. The gates of the historic Vierkanter will be wide open for this event. Visitors of all ages can embark on an exciting journey into the world of horses and their history.

The focus of the farm tour is on the special connection between humans and horses - a valuable experience that is particularly important for children. In direct contact with the horses - during pony rides, carriage rides and meet & greets with the popular pony Moritz - they can playfully learn many positive characteristics such as responsibility, empathy and team spirit. The information boards around the historic four-in-hand horse teach the whole family the most important basics of the horse world. This knowledge can be put into practice immediately during the stable tour and in the puzzle game.

However, the farm tour is not just an unforgettable experience for the little ones. Parents and grandparents can immerse themselves in the more than 200-year-old history of the former k. & k. Stallion Depot and salt shipping on the Traun. A visit to the show forge rounds off the experience.

Around 120 events take place at the equestrian centre every year - in ten disciplines and seven breeds. This makes it the ‘Austrian competence centre for breeding, sport and the training of humans and horses’. Visitors can gain exciting insights into the disciplines and breeds at all Hofrunde events.

In addition to an exciting family experience, the Hofrunde 2025 also promises a deep insight into the world of horses and the history of the equestrian centre.
