Every Friday* from 12.30 p.m. to 4.30 p.m. in Ohlsdorf-Kleinreith, also on Good Friday!

The Salzkammergut farmers market represents the enjoyment and diversity of the Salzkammergut. Since July 1988, 14 providers have been offering farm products from the Salzkammergut. It is our goal to present the consumer with fresh, natural, tasty products from the region. The market can be found in the warehouse in Ohlsdorf Kleinreith near Gmunden in the Salzkammergut. Our products and delicacies The quality of what is created under the hands of our farmers is hard to beat. The Salzkammergut farmers market offers you regional delicacies from our farms.

Freshness, closeness, appropriate animal husbandry and the avoidance of preservatives are not just empty advertising messages for us.

How to get to the Salzkammergut Bauernmakrt in Kleinreith near Gmunden in the Traunsee-Almtal region:

We recommend travelling by public transport or bike!

by train:
Via Attnang-Puchheim railway station with the Salzkammergutbahn (line 170) to Gmunden railway station. Numerous connections from Attnang-Puchheim station to the main trains on the Westbahn line (line 101) or via Gmunden to the Salzkammergutbahn in the direction of Bad Ischl, Hallstatt and Bad Aussee. Continue with the OÖVV bus lines 521 or 524.
Or take the Traunsee tram (line 161) from Stern & Hafferl from Vorchdorf Eggenberg to the Gmunden Rathausplatz stop, change to the Citybus line 511 to Gmunden Altmühl. Approx. 5 minutes on foot to the Salzkammergut farmers' market.
Or continue the ride to Gmunden railway station and change to the OÖVV bus lines 521 or 524.

By bus:
OÖVV bus routes 521 and 524, bus stop Kleinreith near Gmunden Gewerbepark, right next to the Salzkammergut farmers' market
Citybus line 511 to Gmunden Altmühl. Approx. 5 minutes on foot.

By bike:
The Salzkammergut Farmers' Market is also very easy to reach by bike. From Gmunden Rathausplatz (connection Traunvierteltour or R4 Traunradweg and R 2 Salzkammergutradweg) along the Traun to Marienbrücke. Then head towards the cemetery, after the cemetery turn right towards Ohlsdorfer Straße, follow the road to the bridge after GH Altmühl, after the bridge turn right into Bäckergasse, then take the first left into Kleinreith Straße - cross Ohlsdorfer Straße and you have reached your destination immediately on the right.

Coming from Ohlsdorf via Hochbaustraße and Thalhamstraße also as far as Kleinreithstraße, then turn right and continue as described above.

Coming from Laakirchen, take the R4 Traunradweg to Gschwandt until you cross the road (at Mayer Maschinenbau). Then turn right to the access road to the sewage treatment plant, turn left there and follow the route for approx. 500 metres. Then the cycle path turns right and leads over the large Traun bridge to Gmunden, then right over the bridge and then right into Bäckergasse, then take the first left into Kleinreith Straße - cross Ohlsdorfer Straße and you have reached your destination immediately on the right.

By car:
Motorway A1: Vienna - Voralpenkreuz-A1 - exit A1 Laakirchen West - via Laakirchen on the B 144 towards Gmunden, at the roundabout after Oberweis take the B120 towards B145, cross the large Traun bridge and immediately take the first exit (Ohlsdorf-Kleinreith/Altmühl) after the bridge and after approx. 200 metres turn right, Lagerhaus.
Motorway A1: Munich - Salzburg - Exit A1 Regau - on the B145 to Gmunden, before Gmunden on the B120 and take the second exit (Ohlsdorf-Kleinreith/Altmühl), at the next junction turn left into Ohlsdorferstraße, over the bridge and after approx. 400 metres turn left into the access road to the "Lagerhaus" warehouse.

Coming from Bad Ischl on the B145 to the junction with the B120, turn right towards Laakirchen onto the B120 and take the second exit (Ohlsdorf-Kleinreith/Altmühl), at the next junction turn left into Ohlsdorferstraße, cross the bridge and after approx. 400 metres turn left into the access road to the "Lagerhaus" warehouse.

Parking facilities
There are a limited number of parking spaces directly at the market, but sufficient.
