The Waldauf family from Schwaz in Tyrol have a long tradition of making music together and exploring their roots in folk music. Tracing old, traditional yodels, dances, melodies and tunes and preserving them without them becoming outdated is a great challenge for them. The family describes it as a gift to be able to make music together. As a result, they have had a number of unforgettable musical experiences together. The music-making weeks in Rotholz and on the Ritten in South Tyrol, with excellent teachers and musical role models, were formative. Musical encounters throughout the Alpine region and numerous television appearances made them known to a wide audience. Her first CD “Waldauf g'spielt” was released in 2017.
