Kit Armstrong & Minetti Quartett

Kit Armstrong and the Minetti Quartet inspire musically.

Kit Armstrong has fascinated the music world ever since he entered the international stage twenty years ago. Born in Los Angeles in 1992, Armstrong studied at the Curtis Institute of Music and the Royal Academy of Music in London.

Hardly any other young artist is as well-versed and universally trained in so many areas as he is. Acclaimed by the New York Times as a “brilliant pianist” who “combines musical maturity and youthful audacity in his exceptional playing”, Kit Armstrong has developed his very own artistic signature. His intensive preoccupation with music is naturally closely related to other arts, science and mathematics.

For this special evening, Kit Armstrong is making his first guest appearance at the Salzkammergut Festival Weeks Gmunden and has chosen the Minetti Quartet as his partner - the ensemble that has been closely associated with the festival for many years and co-founded the Salzkammergut Festival Weeks Gmunden Ensemble.
