1. Tree hotel and treetop trail in Kopfing in the Innviertel region

High up, between six and ten metres above the ground, 12 tree houses are enthroned, which are rightly called tree hotels and offer everything your heart desires. The tree hotels are located in the centre of the Baumkronenweg (treetop trail) nature adventure park.

The world's first house insulated with larch bark is located in St. Wolfgang am Wolfgangsee. It is the guest house of Max Eisl and Anna Winkler and has the mystical name "Balthasar Volcano". 13. Donau(T)raum

Places to sleep in the Danube region of Upper Austria that are a little out of the ordinary in every respect. These include comfortable sleeping barrels in Ottensheim, sleeping with the count at Clam Castle, in the town tower of Enns, in a ship's cabin on the Danube or in the Bruckner Room of the Augustinian canons' monastery of St Florian.
